Project Portfolio

Below are projects recently completed at Broadsighted Design, with brief thoughts on each. More examples are available upon request.

Fort Collins, CO

    Design & development
  • Logo / Brand identity enhancement
  • eCommerce website enhancement

Cha Tao Tea commissioned Broadsighted Design to bring a modern, cleaner feel to their branding—in preparation for some major package design work to sell their (wonderful! high quality! look through their website) teas in well-known stores and venues. This project was particularly challenging in that Cha Tao Tea wished to include multiple elements in their branding—which could have easily led to an overly-complex, amateurish looking logo. Both Cha Tao Tea and Broadsighted Design were immensely pleased with how the branding turned out.

Broadsighted Design then incorporated the new branding into Cha Tao Tea's preexisting eCommerce website, as well as streamlined the User Interface and code for improved accessibility across more browsers.

For the small business owner, a company overhaul can be a terrifying thing. The guys at IronHammer Ornamental had a different attitude: Let's rethink everything. And so we did, leaving no stone unturned. Even the company name is new—refined for its crucial role in Search Engine Marketing campaigns.

As a client, IronHammer Ornamental was ambitious, decisive, devoted, and progressive... which happens to be the Broadsighted description of the perfect client. Thank you, IronHammer Ornamental.

Search engines give more credit (and higher rankings) to older domains. Considering the young age of fatmasaribal.com, this was a unique opportunity for a truly ground-up SEO campaign. Currently, the client is following a legitimate link-building strategy to build authority for SEO.

    Design & development
  • Web page, for use in an email marketing promotion

Grayline asked Broadsighted Design to redesign a web page for use in an email marketing promotion. Their previous page design needed both aesthetic and technical improvement; its code was outdated, heavy and 'clunky' by modern standards.

Since Grayline's email promotion was in partnership with Expedia, Broadsighted Design had to work within stricter guidelines than usual for a project of this nature. Thankfully, the experience was a pleasure—due in no small part to the grace and professionalism with which the folks at Grayline conduct themselves. (They give excellent tours, too.)

Denver, CO

    Web development
  • Integration of WCMS (Web Content Management System)
  • eCommerce
    Image enhancement
  • 500+ product pictures

This company wanted their website redesigned to work within a specific Web Content Management System. Web CMS software is gaining huge popularity—a great solution for anyone looking for an easy way to update website content. There are tons of WCMS options out there, many of which are free. If the ability to easily edit your website content is important to you, Broadsighted Design can find the CMS that is right for your purposes, and integrate it into your website's design. This company can now add product pictures, descriptions, and prices to their website.

A significant part of this project was the enhancement of 300+ product pictures. They were scanned from catalogs, edited, then optimized for web. Broadsighted Design performed the job with a clear understanding of Photoshop's custom Action and Automate Batch functions.

    Design & development
  • Logo / Brand identity
  • Website layout
  • Business cards

This situation was unique in that Broadsighted Design created strictly the website aesthetics (and CSS), according to client's exact specifications. Client is a software programmer and is coding the back-end himself.

Website features: fast-loading images using a css preload technique and optimization for web, changing color schemes, and downward-expanding columns that are search engine optimized—with the main column appearing first in the code.

Image Electric Corp. is a friendly company providing high-end electrical services. They needed a new brand identity and website which reflected their values. In designing their website, Broadsighted Design used stylistic cues like rounded corners, calming colors, and subtle glows to project warmth and friendliness. The user-friendly, tab-based navigation is instantly recognizable as a menu—even by the most computer-shy or inexperienced users. The caricatures on The Crew page and the photos on the Recent Projects page were compiled from 100+ scans and brand identity pieces.

A powerful brand identity will serve your company best if it's used everywhere. Image Electric Corp. is a great example to follow in this regard.
